Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and Tour Trinity Church Boston, MA

Our day begins in Boston with a fascinating Guided Tour of Trinity Church which dominates Copley Square. Henry Hudson Richardson designed this masterpiece in 1872, and it is still considered to be one of America's finest.

Trip Highlights
  • Interior tour of murals, mosaics, granite and marble carvings, brilliant stained glass, breathtaking spires, all blending in an aura of serenity and inspiration.
  • Following our visit to Trinity Church we'll spend time on Newbury Street for shopping and lunch at one of the many restaurants.
  • Our afternoon includes a guided visit to the Gardner Museum, a stunning Venetian palace in the heard of Boston featuring three stories of galleries surrounding a flower-filled courtyard. Created by Isabella Stewart Gardner at the turn of the last century, her eclectic and imaginatively-installed collection encourages visitors to think creatively about art. Professionally trained Museum guides highlight major works in the collection using an interactive approach.
